Advocacy

Communication

The Lead Affinity Group has focused on advocacy and leadership which has resulted in an impressive $8.9M NEW dollars since 2017 for St. Joseph County and South Bend. Equally important are several new policies that have been developed with the support of Lead Affinity Group members.

A key part of the Lead Affinity Group is that we’re a cross-sector collalition of community partners and residents seeking a common goal. Much of our work is to amplify each other’s efforts and to work in partnerships to increase the impact and reduction of lead poisoning together.
